This project involved the renovation of a c1850’s 4-story timber framed/masonry building in downtown Mt. Vernon, Ohio for the Knox Community Hospital. The new use of the building would be for non-clinical functions such as physician practice business operations, marketing department, and medical record office personnel and was part of an effort to revitalize the downtown. Throughout the process the age and condition of the building presented unique challenges to the design and construction teams.
