At Shremshock’s Urban Architecture Studio, we bring extensive experience navigating the complex layers of review and approval processes required in Urban and Historic Neighborhoods. We frequently collaborate with a range of governing bodies and community groups, and we also help clients manage diverse funding challenges. These capabilities allow us to anticipate the impact of such processes on project design, budgets, and timelines.

Our capabilities include:

· Experienced in guiding clients through Architectural Review Boards, Neighborhood Commissions, Zoning Boards, and City Council Variances.

· Well versed working through project funding challenges, with both single source for-profit developers seeking tax abatements or historic tax credits, or non-profit developers that utilize multiple funding sources and state and federal funding programs to accomplish their goals.

· Experienced with the unique challenges of the building code relating to adaptive reuse as well as the adaptation of older buildings to modern construction detailing.
